We will be hosting Helping the Hurting Sunday on March 31 at Eastside Baptist Church. Our speaker will be Evangelist Todd Turner. Join for an event that will be a blessing and an help to those who are facing sickness, disease, finacial strain, or any worrisome event.

Todd Turner was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis while serving in the United States Army in February of 1999. He has had to learn to live with this chronic illness for the past twenty years. During this time he has finished four years of Bible College, worked as a youth pastor, and pastored a small church. He now works as an evangelist in effort to help others learn how to bring God glory and honor through their chronic infirmities. First, we must understand God’s love toward us; then we have to accept God’s will in our life, believing that God can heal us, but understanding that He is not obligated to heal us and may choose not to; lastly we need to know how to use the Word of God to not only bring comfort in our own lives, but in the lives of others.
